Christmas is over

Sadly, Christmas has come and gone. The excitement of all the shopping for that special gift. Wondering if we are going to have a family picture to send out. All the baking and decorating. All the pounds that we gain during this time. All the STRESS. Did you encounter that this year or did you enjoy it?

I started out early this year, so I am happy to say I enjoyed every minute of it. Don't get me wrong there was stress, but it was over family pictures. Two out of the four people in my family don't like taking pictures and if we are not done within 10-15mins they get grumpy. But, my dear friend Jaycee took our family pictures and they came out really good.  So THANK YOU Jaycee. You really helped me out.

Here's a picture she took with my camera. Her camera took better pics.

Every year since Jason and I have been married, my mother-n-law makes a Gingerbread House with the kids. Alyssa was so sweet she iced the house and let Andrew decorate it.

Here's the beginning of it.

We even had a Star this year Andrew was asked to be in our Church's annual Christmas Program; the Children's Nativity Scene. He was a Shepherd. Boy was he the cutest Shepherd. He had two lines and he nailed them, he even said the wise men's line. lol! He was very loud and everyone heard him. It was the cutest thing ever! Just before he went out on stage I told him, "Daddy and sister are out there and you want them to hear you, right? So say your lines loud so they can hear you, ok." He took it to heart, because my in-laws were up stairs and they said they heard him, loud and clear!  That's my boy!

Here's the picture of him waving at me.

Now, this was the first year we had a child wake us up on Christmas morning. Andrew tiptoed into our room to let us know Santa came last night and that there's toys under the Christmas Tree. It was sweet. We never had that before. Alyssa was an only child for 10 years and she loves her sleep. She NEVER woke us up Christmas morning. weird right? We always had to wake her up. I mean the girl loves her SLEEP! Of course Andrew had to go and wake up sister and she was dragging. It was so funny. I tried to give them at least 30 more minutes of sleep, but Andrew was ready to open up gifts. So, daddy and sister came out and Christmas began at the Harris home.

Here's Andrew opening his last gift....He's wanted this for 3 months. I think we did good! :)

Here's Alyssa...you would think our house is a meat locker with that jacket on.  She's opening a beautiful necklace.

Well that's it from the Harris Home. I hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas. And don't forget the
true meaning of Christmas. God in the flesh! Jesus was born to us, a Savior for every man and woman. All you have to do is BELIEVE.
